Ana Flor vive e trabalha em Cristal, no Rio Grande do Sul. É artista visual, curadora, produtora cultural e conservadora-restauradora, formada pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Sua prática parte da observação do cotidiano e investiga as relações entre maternidade, memória, identidade e pertencimento. Por meio da fotografia, da autorrepresentação, do bordado, da costura e de processos fotográficos alternativos, transforma alimentos, objetos domésticos e arquivos familiares em elementos poéticos. Inspirada por sua experiência como artista-mãe, pelas relações familiares e pelo território onde vive, cria imagens e instalações que abordam o cuidado, a sobrecarga, a transmissão entre gerações e as negociações entre trabalho, criação e vida doméstica. Assim, desenvolve uma produção centrada na potência afetiva e política do cotidiano.
Ana Flor lives and works in Cristal, Rio Grande do Sul. She is a visual artist, curator, cultural producer, and conservator-restorer, with a degree from the Federal University of Pelotas. Her practice is rooted in the observation of daily life and explores the relationships between motherhood, memory, identity, and belonging. Through photography, self-representation, embroidery, sewing, and alternative photographic processes, she transforms food, household objects, and family archives into poetic elements. Inspired by her experience as an artist and mother, by family relationships, and by the territory where she lives, she creates images and installations that address care, overload, intergenerational transmission, and the balancing act between work, creativity, and domestic life. In this way, she develops a body of work centered on the emotional and political power of everyday life.
